Growing up in the Sutherland Shire and having a love for Rugby league both John Salmon (MD) and Jake Denford (SBA National Sales Manager) were lucky enough to be selected and represent the local Cronulla Sutherland Sharks through their pathway program of Matthews Cup, SG Ball, Jersey Flegg and then being selected to play in the ARL and NRL Cronulla Sharks lower grades sides.
It is with this background that SBA has continued a long and proactive history of supporting youth sport. Over the past 8 years SBA have had an association with the following sporting teams.

- HMC Sharks – Harold Matthews Cup
- SGB Sharks – SG Ball
- Jersey Flegg Sharks
In 2022 SBA extended its commitment to grass roots football sponsorship and included the Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership U19 Tarsha Gale Cup.

The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks are rugby league club based in the Sutherland Shire. With junior representative program and its flagship teams competing in the NRL and NRLW competitions.
The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks is responsible for the development of Rugby League in the Sutherland Shire region.
